We are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization founded and operated by veterans and family of veterans dedicated to serving other United States military veterans, from all eras and branches, or service backgrounds, through direct assistance, guidance, and community-based support.
A future where every veteran feels valued, supported, and never forgotten.
I Took the Oath, Inc. is a veteran-founded and veteran-operated nonprofit dedicated to connecting United States military veterans with resources, guidance, and practical assistance during times of hardship and transition. We serve with compassion, dignity, and respect—helping veterans regain stability while ensuring no one is left behind.
The men and women who took an oath to defend our nation should never have to face life's challenges alone. We exist to stand beside them, providing support when it is needed most and honoring their service through action.

We are governed by an independent Board of Directors as defined in the By-Laws to operate with a strong commitment to transparency, integrity, and accountability to ensure responsible stewardship of donor funds. For additional information on the organization’s bylaws, policies, and assistance guidelines, please contact Info@Itooktheoath.org. The organization maintains formal bylaws, conflict of interest policies, and written assistance guidelines to ensure responsible stewardship of donor funds.

Our Board of Directors brings together veterans, family members of veterans, and community supporters who share a commitment to serving those who have served our great nation.
